Dr. Claude Weichel

Doctor of Chiropractic

I have been a chiropractor for over 30 years. I attended Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. I have practiced chiropractic in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and B.C. I practiced as an associate in several multidisciplinary clinics, have done many locums, and have owned two clinics. I owned the Canmore Chiropractic Clinic from 1992-1998. I now live in Vernon and own Monashee Chiropractic in Sicamous which is open part-time on Fridays.

I have a diverse set of skills, both in techniques and in patient management. I utilize motion palpation assessment, diversified and drop table adjustment, myofascial release, PNF stretching, and specific exercise counselling. I am very active; I do skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain-biking, and lake swimming in my spare time.

Tiffany Gilmore, R.M.T.

She takes great pride in helping her clients create freedom to move.

Sarah Nilson

Shortly after moving to the Okanagan, she returned to St. Albert, Alberta to take her 200-hour yoga teacher training through Vikara Yoga Academy.

Colleen Bremmer

Office Manager

Colleen grew up in the Lower Mainland but has family in the Okanagan and moved here in 2013. She has 3 grown children. Colleen earned her Health Care Assistant certificate in 2020 . Colleen loves to be in her kayak or most things outdoors in the summertime. In the wintertime, you might find her reading or playing her guitar.

Vivian Dunphy

Administrative Assistant

Vivian has called the Okanagan home for several decades.  After a brief stint in nursing, she took time to raise her two boys with her husband.  She worked in several medical offices as a Medica Office Assistant.  Vivian enjoys snowshoeing and hiking with her neighbours, and will brave another winter or two of alpine skiing with her husband, every Sunday afternoon followed by a mocha!

Emilee Dawson

Massage Therapist/Kinesiologist

Emilee grew up in BC where she discovered a passion for human anatomy and active recovery through her own injury experiences in competitive sports, such as hockey. She decided to pursue a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, but after working for a few years, decided she wanted to take her practice further, and went to school for a Diploma of Massage Therapy where she received Honors with Distinction. Now, as a dual practitioner, Emilee is able to combine her knowledge from both education backgrounds to develop a recovery plan for her patients. Emilee has a desire to see patients learn to move confidently and aid in injury rehabilitation with the help of active recovery applied to biomechanical and functional goals. She is also a firm believer in allowing the body to move in order to heal. In a massage with Emilee, you can expect to be moving throughout the whole session, so bring shorts, a T-shirt, and a desire to move well!
